In the previous article I showed you how to create a blog site on Blogger which is free.

Blogger is a great way to learn how to manage a blog site. If you already have a blog site, the principles of managing a blog site still relate to other blogging applications. So I suggest you read this article so you can pick up some interesting information on how you can improve your posting procedures.

Now that you have a Blogger blog site, you probably can’t wait to post your first blog. I’ll be showing you how to:

  • Split your post with a Read more link
  • How to save a draft post
  • How to publish your post

How To Start A Blog

Have you ever surfed the internet, searching for a subject that you feel is important. After searching the internet for hours, or may be a day or two, you may end up saying ‘If only someone would provide some decent, relevant information about this subject!

The reason why there may not be so much information on the subject you’re searching for, is because, not many people know enough about the subject.

Or you may find after doing a lot of searching, that you can see a different perspective on the subject that no one else has considered or talked about.

In a previous article I explained what is blogging, blogger and blog.

What I’m suggesting is that you start writing your own blog. You can write about what you have found and how it’s relevant to the subject that you and probably others are looking for.

Unique Content vs Plagiarism

flickr image by embot I have been researching the internet on how to build a Twitter application using PHP programming language interacting with the Twitter API. While doing this research I noticed a pattern or the regularity of plagiarism. I have found that the content the plagiariser produces and claims to be their own creation, exposes their lack of knowledge and understanding on the subject and creates confusion for those who are researching the subject such as myself. In my case it is the frustration and annoyance created by uneducated dummies claiming to be authorities on the subject. Plagiarism is a harsh word and some academics will cry “Burn them at the stake”. It is the anger of many readers who have voiced their frustration and wish there was more constructive and educational content on the internet to help people learn and develop new skills.
