Just imagine, you want to start your own business with products that you have personally produced. You rent out a shop and wait for your customers to pour in. But sadly no one comes to your shop. Then you chat with a friend and he tells you that you need to advertise and let people know you about your shop. So you advertise telling people you have opened a new shop with the most unique products. You also provide your contact details the address of the shop.

This is just a hypothetical example of how important it is to promote your website to get visitors. If you have just created a new blog or web site. It is really important that you submit your sites Url and sitemap to the popular search engines. If you don’t… the only sound you will hear are crickets as you wait for visitors.

psd’s photostream – Image - In my University studies I am learning about Web Design and Production. My last lesson was on navigating a website and the need to make that navigation user friendly. WordPress is a great blogging tool. I like it because it’s easy writing web logs. But one thing that frustrates me when I visit blog sites on the internet is navigating through the blog maze. Yes you can see the latest blogs and check the archives, but what about your blogs that relate to the information your visitors are looking for. How can you make your blog user friendly which encourages your visitors to come back for more?
